WEJUNGO® PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: April 1, 2026
At Wejungo®, we recognize that privacy is important. This Privacy Policy has been compiled to serve those who are concerned with how their ‘Personally identifiable information’ (PII) is being used online. PII, as used in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our website and the services we provide through it.
Information We Collect and How We Use It
We collect information to provide better services to our users, from understanding basic usage patterns to enabling personalized experiences. We may collect the following types of information:
Information You Provide
We collect information from you when you fill out a form, register to be a client or member, send an inquiry form, or enter information on our site.
Embedded Content from Other Websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. YouTube videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files that a site or its service provider store on your computer through your web browser, if you allow. Like the vast majority of websites, we use ‘cookies’ in order to provide you with the best possible experience on our website. Cookies can have many purposes and, among other things, may be used to save your preferences or to collect visitor statistics – e.g. finding out how many users viewed the site and the pages they accessed.
We may at any time utilize cookies to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interactions in order to offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may also use trusted third-party services that track this information on our behalf.
Functional
Functional cookies help perform certain functionalities like sharing the content of the website on social media platforms, collecting feedback, and other third-party features.
Analytics
Analytical cookies are used to understand how visitors interact with the website. These cookies help provide information on metrics such as the number of visitors, bounce rate, traffic source, etc.
Internal Cookies: We use PHP session cookies (e.g., PHPSESSID for maintaining user sessions and anti-spam purposes, such as verifying form submissions). These help prevent automated abuse without storing personal data beyond what’s needed for session management. Additionally, login cookies are set on our admin pages to authenticate authorized users and maintain secure access. We also employ obfuscated form fields (honeypots) as a non-cookie-based method to detect and prevent spam submissions. For spam protection in forms, we use Google reCAPTCHA, which may set cookies like _GRECAPTCHA (used to distinguish humans from bots).
Log Information
When you access our webpages, our servers automatically record information such as your web request, IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, date and time of your request, and cookies that identify your browser or account.
We process personal information only for purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:
- Providing and improving our services, such as displaying customized content.
- Auditing, research, and analysis to maintain and enhance our offerings.
- Ensuring technical functionality and security.
Choices for Personal Information
Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including refusing them or deleting them. However, disabling cookies may limit functionality, such as chat features or personalized experiences. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Since each browser is a little different, look at your browser’s Help Menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.
If we intend to use personal information for purposes beyond those described here, we will seek your consent. You can decline to provide personal information, though this may prevent us from offering certain services.
We do not currently respond to “do not track” signals as we do not sell personal information, but we may track or use cookies even when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for opt-out requests where applicable under California law.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when its release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property or safety.
We share personal information only in limited circumstances:
- When we believe in good faith it’s necessary to comply with law, enforce terms, prevent fraud, or protect rights, property, or safety.
- In aggregated, non-personal form (e.g., usage statistics) that doesn’t identify individuals.
Information Security
We implement appropriate security measures, including encryption, access controls, and regular reviews, to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction of data. Access is restricted to employees, contractors, and agents who need it for our services, bound by confidentiality. Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. We also use regular Malware Scanning and have an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate installed on the site.
Should a data breach occur, we will notify affected users via in-site notification within 7 business days.
Data Integrity
We process personal information only as needed and review practices to ensure accuracy. We rely on users to update their data.
Accessing and Updating Personal Information
Individuals have the right to request access to, rectification, or deletion of their personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
For security and privacy reasons, we may require additional information to verify your identity before processing your request. Upon receiving a valid request, we will acknowledge receipt and aim to respond within 30 days.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy; changes will be posted here with the new effective date. Significant changes will include prominent notice. Prior versions are archived for review upon request. Any privacy policy changes will be reflected on this page, and the date at the top of the page will inform visitors of when the latest changes were made.
COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)
We do not specifically market to or collect personal information from children under 13.
